Art at the Shakespeare
I was delighte to curate this show of Bristol artists for The Shakespeare's contribution to Front Room Arts Trail in November 2019. The Engineering theme this year was an inspiring one for our artists. We have balloons from Andrew Burns Colwill along with some of his classic environmental pieces. Bridges from the ever popular John Curtis, harbour scenes from regular artist Mary Rouncefield, some technical stencil work from both Georgie and Nick Harvey peppered with some beautiful creatures from Totterdown artist Sophie Long mixed with a little pop art surrealism from Jimmer Willmott.
New for The Shakespeare is The Steampunk Astrologer who creates beautiful personalised generated birth charts from her own artwork together with an astrological report. So a kind of old school enginering meets art - is my spin on it!
