Stuck on writing something - perhaps you could take inspiration from an artist.............. Here is one of Sophie Long's 30 minute art challenge pieces on display in her latest solo show at Bocabar Glastonbury.

She does around 3 of these a week. Sophie asks her followers on social media for what they would like to see her paint, does the research then sets herself a 30 minute challenge.  What she finds is - she gets out of her own way when the time pressure is on. Also she uses it to work on the same animal a number of times on different pieces to refine her style.

What I think is really lovely is she sells them off really affordably for her fans who can't afford her originals. For similar size pieces Sophie's work commands around £500- £600. Her 30 min art challenges are just £75.

Her show is well worth a visit and is on till 8 September.
